Default P1023 problems

I had the dealer confirm the P1023 code and they stated the high pressure fuel pump needed to be replaced. I am taking it to my independent porsche guy to change the pump. Does anyone have any other information on this issue?

Hello,

I have the same error, p1023, piwis says:fuel high pressure too low during starting upper limit value exceeded porsche.

When i try to start the car after a day of not using it takes like 10 seconds before it starts and it also has a rough idle until i hit the throttle a little bit. I read a lot about a faulty high fuel pressure pump. But i don't want to spent over 1000 euros (or dollars) if it won't fix my problem.
What did you do eventually?

Kind regards from Belgium

Did anyone ever solve this issue? I'm having the same problems and symptoms with. 970 Panamera S. any help would be appreciated. I have already changed the HPFP, Low pressure in tank pump, high pressure sensor as well. Still getting the same issue.
