Default Vertical separator rattling on hatch

My 2007 Cayman has a rattle in the vertical curtain, on the hatch that attaches with two *****, that separates the storage compartment from the passenger area. I took it the dealer and they said it was normal. Does anyone have any solutions or suggestions other than turning the radio up or leaving the divider off?

When I had that issue on my '06, the dealer installed a couple adhesive felt pads on the curtain where it contacted the the silver body parts of the interior. I do not think that was an "official" Porsche fix, but it was effective.

Sounds like your dealer is being somewhat lazy.

Jim, I had a similar rattle on my '07 and removed it with the same method mentioned above but I used a couple of rubber stick-on pads about 1/4" dia each and about 1/16 thick. The pads are actually meant to be placed under vases, objects'd art and other stuff to protect tabletops. Same function as felt but hold up a long time and keep their padding better. Get them at Home Depot, etc.
