I just purchased a 2006 Cayman S with a sand interior. The exterior looks great, but the interior is not in pristine condition, and has what appear to be chips in the sand-color dash plastic coating and the ring around the ignition key is worn down...you can see the black parent plastic peeking though in under the chips and worn areas. I'd like to restore the interior. Is there any such thing as interior touch up paint? Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Get them wrapped in alcantara.

Bumperplugs.com offers interior parts that are painted a different color than stock. If you have parts that can be removed, then they may be able to paint them the stock color.

Thanks for replying. I actually found a thread about using Home Depot latex flat paint, and the poster's pix looked like that's going to do the trick!

But in most major areas, there is one go-to leather repair guy who handles the higher end dealers. Find that guy and see them work miracles. I've seen it on the rubberized coatings over the plastic for Porsche that's torn to hell, and returned to near perfect in just hours....this is why CPO cars look so good inside.

Sadly, the slush finish just simply doesn't hold up. (Hence the reason it's best to order high wear areas in leather). Good to know there are solutions out there.
