Default Interior Space

Hello,

I just drove a 2010 Cayman. What an awesome car. Anyway, I am looking to buy used, probably 2006 through 2008. I see in 2009, the Cayman grew by 2" in length. My question is about interior space. I'm 6' 4" tall, is 2009/2010 have more room for the driver vs. 2006-2008?

Thanks

I haven't heard that the gen II 987s grew in length, not that I really know, but I highly doubt it.

wheelbase is the same at 2415mm. Length of 2008 gen1 is 4341mm and 2009 gen2 is 4347mm. Dimensions from the Asian hardcover model books for those years. Not aware of any difference in interior dimensions.

cheers

I am sure those 5 mm difference in length is just the change in front bumper design or some other cosmetic change. Interior hasn't changed to my knowledge.

How did you find the Cayman seating? I'm also pretty tall (6'5") with long legs and I found the 1st generation Boxster to be a bit on the short side, so I saved for a 911. I'm wondering if things have changed.
