Talking Cayman S with CCW wheels, JIC suspension and GT3 seats (pics)

So the car is completed and now I just have to dial in the suspension settings at the track. Thus far I have only had one track weekend and have since changed the alignment a bit.

So the wheels are CCW C14's (thank you John) in an anodized black finish and I added the pin stripe to make it a little lass "black". Front's are 18x9"and the rear are 18x10". I'm running Toyo RA1's for the street and track (I have two sets, one on the stock CS wheels)
Suspension is a JIC cross coil over that i got from a member of CC..brand new in the box!
Seats are the standard 996 GT3 seats with Schroth belts and the TC design bar I had before. had the dealer turn off the anooying light in the dash for the airbags this morning.
Also installed over the winter is a Quaife and a light weight flywheel from FVD.
Still on the car is the Milltek exhaust (modified for MORE SOUND!) and the GT3 cup brake ducts in front. I also painted the intake grills black and will get around to doing the fog light spears shortly.
Enjoy!!
Chris

Looks great. Love the overall theme with the red accents. You should black out the Cayman S logo on the back too.

Very nice looking car!

I agree with schwank. Make the cayman logo black.

I'm starting to feel the pin stripe and might have to swing by sticky when I get my next set of CCW. Oh and BTW, the car looks amazing!!

that car just screams "one hard *****". hot!

the only things i'd add aesthetically is the red taillights.

and as for making the model designation black, either do it in the same flat black as the wheels, or do it in the same RED as the pinstripe on the wheels. after all, why go only halfway to hell when pure evil is within reach?

The pin stripe is just a nice little addition to red calipers but I wouldn't paint the model designation in red. That would be too much and I don't think the theme going on is red and silver.

Hmmm, maybe a blacked out "cayman s" badge would be cool...

I got two words for that

NICE!!!

How long did you have to wait for your order from CCW? Weights? I think they told me aprox #21
I'm considering these wheels and then having them painted a gun metal color.
Only thing is I'll need a spacer for the rears which i'm not crazy about should I autox/de.

My fronts are dented and curbed. Wondering if I should save the $300 on fixing and just buy a new set.

Well...the car does look great!!

I wonder if we could get a name for a thread that has been resurrected?

Since the thread is back, how is that car doing?
