May 21 - Driving Tour near DC
Come join us Sunday May 21st as we "enthusiastly" drive the back roads of Virginia, West Virginia, and Maryland.
We will be driving nearly a 100 mile tour route through some wild twisties then attending an Air Show @ Andrew AFB where we will witness aircraft breaking the sound barrier. If one just wants to do the tour, that is fine and surely welcome.
We will be meeting at Intersport at 8:30 am for breakfast then head out on a the driving tour. The tour ends at FedEx Field where we will be parking to attend the JOINT SERVICES OPEN HOUSE Air show at Andrews Air Force Base. Buses will be taking us to the Air Show. 8:30am - Intersport in Tysons
- 1524 Spring Hill Rd., McLean, VA 22102
- Breakfast (Pasties, Donuts, Fruit, Cereal)
9:45am - Depart on Driving Tour to Andrews
:: Joint Services Open House Air Show ::
11:45am - Andrews AFB - Parking @ Fedex field then bused to show
- Lunch purchased by oneself @ event
:: Blue Angels at Andrews AFB ::
3:00pm - Watch the World Famous Air Team in their F-16’s
perform death defying stunts.
Event Registration Fee is $10 per car. NO ADMISSION COST AT AIR SHOW. Lunch can be purchased at the air show. (The $10 goes to providing more events and is paid day of the event.)
