Default Cayman Foglights Conspiracy

I think I see where the Cayman designers got their inspiration - it would seem that VW-AG and P-AG are colluding to standardize foglight design across their entire model lineups, starting with their mid-range models... I guess they figure if we see them enough, we'll start to like them?

This picture was posted by luv2ride on my cross-post in another forum. The timeless lines of the Sonata...

pcar
Why the cross post to the Cayman forum (also on the 993 forum)? Are you trolling or flame baiting? Surely you must realize your insipid Cayman bashing got old a long time ago. You really need to get a life.

BTW, my questions are rhetorical. I am neither soliciting nor do I care about your response.

You're a moron. There was no malice in my original post, nor was I "flame baiting." I saw a trend with foglight design and, tongue-in-cheek, posted the "Foglight Conspiracy."

I have said it before, and I'll say it again - never before have I seen so many insecure whining babies as on Rennlist. To the point where you can't even post a tame thread like this one without catching flak. Maybe it's just a reflection of society.

There are a lot of cars that use that foglight style. My 98 beetle has similar fogs. For some reason it is brought up a lot WRT the Cayman??? Seems to look out of place on the Cayman and more integrated into the other cars I guess... I like that bar blacked out; someone posted a pic of it painted black a while ago.

Yeah they just look out of place. Like I said, I saw a Cayman with an aftermarket bumper and it looked 10x better. I don't understand why an aftermarket company can come up with a better design in a couple months, when Porsche has been developing the car for years.

I dunno, if you really want fog lights that work, the Audi's back in the early 80's had the best setup:

I would love to see a WRC Cayman!!!

c'mon, pcar 964 is cool!
you just got to get to know him.....
he adds character to RL.
i dont mind the fog lamps on mine b/c it's black so you can't see the bar.
putting GT3 bumper on it like farnbacher loles is nice.
however, i wonder if cayman and gT3 lights are interchangeable or do the fenders need to be swapped too.

Look. The real fact of the matter is pcar964 was dropped as a child. Then there was this event in like 3rd grade where I schooled his *** on the basketball court. It was down hill since then.

Then what happened was I started smoking him in my 951 without proper suspension. Then he got like super effing pissed off. Like super ninja pissed off. http://www.realultimatepower.net/ That is him on the left.

On top of that, I stole like 4 of his girlfriends even though he is like 5 times in better shape then I am. What can I say, I have a way with the girls. I mean whatever. He doesn't have the Polack charm like I do.

thanks mooty, but you might be throwing yourself under the bus

can't find the thread where I saw the black cayman with GT3 bumper, made a world of difference - plus black is the best color for the car imho.
