Looks very nice. I've been thinking about lower my car as well. If you don't mind my asking what did Orbit charge for the job? It would be much easier for me to take the car to Orbit than all the way to Champion in Pompano.

gt3cup98,

Stunning. I am beginning to think the Carrara White may be the best color for the Cayman. Can you give some details on the real world (i.e. none track) ride quality of the H&R PASM vs. the stock PASM.

gt3cup98,

That is sweet. Not too low, just right. Looks like you are in Florida. Where is Orbit Racing?

Orbit racing has a new shop located in Riviera Beach, FL which is essentially the West Palm Beach area, but closer to Palm Beach Gardens. This area is 72 miles North of Miami on the East coast of FL.

Gt3cup, I hope I never see your Cayman driving around on one of my trips to Palm Beach... I'd cause a serious accident. That's HOT!!!

djcxxx, do you have any pics from the front or rear looking down the side. You must have spacers on your car, because the wheels look to stick out further than normal... I'd like to see another angle.

The Techart wheels are 19" w/ 235/35 up front and 295/30 in the rear. There are 15mm spacers on the rear only. This is the standard 19" Techart fitment and no fender rolling is required. The size of the tire makes the rear fender gap much more noticable. My photogaphy skills are not comparable to gt3cup98s, at some point I can try to take some more pixs.

I think Orbit charged under $1,000.00 to lower the car. I am not sure since there were some other charges and I have not broken it out.
The car drives nice on the road and the track. I do not notice any real difference it just looks a lot better.
We will be changin the bars an d few minor adjustments to make it drive better at speed. Other than that we will leave it a street car.

Are the H&R lowering springs progressive rate? If so, it's good to hear that the new set up works well with PASM. I was reading the Excellence article on the new GT3 and they said that progressive springs don't allow the PASM to work as intended on the GT3.

Call me weird but I actually think it looks better at stock height.
