Those pictures posted are not the Z4M coupe, they are just the Z4 coupe with a 265Hp 3.0L engine. All M cars have quad exhausts.

Keep in mind that BMW (until Porsche made Cayman S) were the only manufacturer who made true roadsters (Z3s, Z4s) and then followed them by much more powerful Coupe versions based on convertible model.
So the point being Porsche would have fully studied this market and made sure Cayman S would out perform Z4M Coupe.
What I don't understand is if BMW delayed the coupe to see what Cayman S comes out as and then place the Z4M Coupe accordingly or was it is released early to get the market that would not want to spend Cayman S money when they could get a Z4M Coupe for much less...

But BMW may have done it - as opposed to Porsche - for its enthusiasts and had only limited commercial sucess. Porsche is using it as brand bait for the BMW clientele
