(Pics) Spotted - Downtown Los Angeles
Guys -
For those who are anticipating the arrival of the Cayman S, thought you might appreciate these rather poor quality pics I snapped this afternoon while leaving downtown Los Angeles. These were taken in downtown Los Angeles in the vicinity of the the 4th St. entrance to the 110 freeway. There were two identical Cayman S, wearing euro plates and when I passed by the first time, they were getting ready to head out on the I-110 to do some filming (a stealthed out Mercedes ML430 was rigged with cameras for filming, sitting in front of them). I assume they were filming a commercial or short film. By the time I got around the block with my camera ready so I could snap a photo, the first one had left, and traffic would not allow me to stop and get some really good shots, so these are all that I was left with. Sorry I couldn't get any better photos, but their location in reference to the street I was on did not lend itself to taking well planned pics - these were literally snapped with one hand while I passed by. I was completely taken by surprise to see two Cayman S this early. Enjoy.....

don't like those wheels. what is the thought, that 18s are standard and 19s optional?

If the stock 18" wheels are the five spoke ones that end kind of short in the middle, I agree, those are beautiful and in my opinion suit the car perfectly (from the pictures). Much better than the ones in the LA shot in this thread.
