Default RUF 3400S - hold its value?

I imagine that these handmade RUF roadsters would hold value well, but those who know, how have the RUF cars held value throughout the years? I'm looking at a 3400S but think the price seems really high, since its only about 10k less than what the owner paid for it 3 years ago! It could be just that he's asking a lot, or that they hold their value so well and will continue to do so, as only 12 of those were made (they had planned for 20, but think the 3600s came out before they could do the 20). It's a tough call, as the price is WAY higher than a well equipped Boxster S, which has almost the same published 0-60 times (although I fully suspect the 3400S is quite a bit faster). The Cayman will probably blow the 3400S away, and possibly the 3600S, but it's not soft top...

RUF's seem to hold thier value very well - but remember it is a "Focused" enthuastic audience Read very small. I can't see going wrong with a RUF VIN#d car in the long run
YMMV
