Initially developed in 2004, over 13 years of continual improvement has given birth to the top-quality sport headers we sell today. Fabspeed’s founder and owner, Joe Fabiani, bought a 987 and personally Dyno developed various styles of headers headers with and without catalytic convertors, exhaust systems, tips, and tie downs. While developing and improving our Sport Headers we have directly applied expert feedback from PCA Driver’s Education members, PCA and POC Club Racers, Cayman ITC Pro Racers, and Professional Racers in Koni and IMSA Continental.
For those who want something more aggressive, our Porsche 987 Boxster/Cayman Long Tube Race Headers are designed for racing, track events, and off-road use. These headers maximize the horsepower and torque potential of the Porsche 987 engine by increasing exhaust flow from the engine cylinders straight into the exhaust system utilizing world-class merge collectors.

To replace the factory mufflers, we have three amazing options; our Maxflo, our SuperCuphttps://www.planet-9.com/autolinker/images/link1.gif, and our TrackTec Valved Exhaust.

Our Porsche Boxster/Cayman Maxflo Exhaust System dramatically improves sports car sound and throttle response with upgraded Maxflo mufflers and world-class inlet tubing. This system is a great choice for those who are looking to get a little more out of their 987, adding +5 WHP and +4 ft/lbs. of TQ.

For those who are looking for something more aggressive, we have our Supercup Exhaust System. The Boxster/Cayman Supercup Exhaust System is an aggressive track-designed exhaust system providing maximum flow and power, resulting in +10 WHP, +8 ft/lbs. of TQ, while saving -18 lbs. off the rear of the vehicle. This system is recommended for off-road and track use only.

If you can’t decide on which Fabspeed system fits your needs best, we have our TrackTec Valvetronic Exhaust. This is a valvetronic exhaust that offers the best of both world’s depending on the position of the valves. With the valves closed, the system sounds exactly like our Maxflo system as the air is directed through the mufflers. Open the valves, and the exhaust gas flows straight out the rear of the vehicle, creating a more aggressive sound than even the Supercup.
