Cayman S, strange hose near battery
 

Hey Guys, so I was changing the cabin filter in my 2006 Cayman S and noticed a small clear hose with a L shape tip on it. It does not seem to be attached and not sure where it goes or what it is for. I do see where it goes into the interior fender, but have no clue where that goes. I have attached a pic of the end and where it is going, would appreciate any advise where it goes and what it is for?????

Battery breather tube. should plug into the side of the top of the battery. It is possible your current battery does not have the vent hole.

Hi, I appreciate the details, I will need to check the battery, I know it has been replaced. My local porsche shop said the same thing, Thanks again for the quick reply, happy new year
