I took delivery of a 2016 Cayman S 2 days ago -- my first Porsche. GT silver, agate grey full interior, manual, PASM, PTV..unfortunately looks like no bluetooth audio lol. I've been meaning to put up my first post, but I've spent most of my free timing driving around and smiling. I really appreciate this forum. I've learned a lot reading posts during the months spent looking for the car.
Congrats! Your Cayman is beautiful! That is the exact color I'd go for. In fact, I thought I wanted black interior, but the grey is gorgeous!
I'm thinking about getting one myself and have debated over a PDK or manual.
Did you debate between manual and PDK? Do you find that you're much more connected with the car with a stick vs automatic?

The PDK is awesome, but I never considered getting it. I’ve always had manual shift cars, it’s so much fun to row your own. The Porsche gearbox is so good, I’ve got zero regrets. I wasn’t sure re the agate grey either but I went to look at it at a local dealer and liked it. You can’t go wrong with black though for sure. It took me a while to find a manual in the colors I was interested in.
Congrats on the new Cayman. I love the color though I'm partial with my Rhodium Silver and Platinum Grey interior. It is kind of under stated but so nice. I wasn't sure about the platinum interior at first but the car was so well optioned that when I saw it I was sold. Glad to see you are driving it and enjoying it as well.

If a Rhodium silver car had come up, I would have gone for that too. I love blue in the Rhodium-congrats!
My first Porsche was a silver '62 356 Super 90. I loved that car so much I talked to it. My then-wife was genuinely jealous of it. When I bought my 2014 Cayman I circled back around to rhodium silver. There are days, when the light is just right, that I just sit and stare at it. It's a sickness.
I've had those days where I go out and stare at mine as well. When the light is right the paint just shimmers. It is hard to describe let alone photograph. My wife understands my obsession!

I installed the Denison compact BT and it's working well so far. I do have to switch to the bluetooth source on the PCM for incoming calls, it doesn't seem to switch to the correct source automatically.
