They do not stain, easy to clean and looks amazing, I was in the same dilema but with the hot of Florida did not want to get the risk of peeling with coating.

That looks awesome. Do you have a link to those tiles? (where you got them?)

Thanks....

Went from this of 20 years as a machine shop, oil on the floors, metal chips crushed in. Took 40 hours worth of grinding and cleaning. Then another two days to epoxy the floors. Then left it one month prior to driving cars onto it.

To this using a floor grinder and then Legacy Industrial Flooring HD Epoxy.

Overall it has held up well, as others have noted that welding or cutting things with torches can leave burn marks on the floor, however done right with a mechanical bond from grinding it holds up great with jack stands and even jacks rolling around on it. It will age and wear, but from the standpoint of what I had to deal with it made a huge impact in light and cleanliness. For cleaning a mop works really well, for the size space I have I have been thinking of getting a floor cleaner, but have not had the justification of spending the money for the hobby shop.

Wow. Not bad pricing at all. I assume you went with the TrueLock HD Ribbed, their top of the line tile?
What was the total cost of the tiles you bought for your garage? How many square feet was your garage total? (Average size 2 car garage?)
Thanks.

Thank you & you’re welcome. Remember to use lanscaping black fabric in the base works perfect, and let the concrete breathe

Here another pic

There is a ton of junk product out there. They will put epoxy in the name of things with literally just 98% paint. This is a "buy once, cry once" project.

The professional level kits (the ones that actually last and look good) are going to set you back about $500-750 in materials alone for a 2-car garage job. EpoxyMaster.com, SpartanExpoxies.com, and GarageCoatings.com are all sources to check out. If you get a pro to do it, I recommend finding someone local that has been in business for years and with a good reputation offering a good warranty. Ask for references.

Agree on this.

When I did my garage I used a company called V-Seal, I've been very happy with it thus far (pardon the muddy floors, dogs love to come chehck on me )

We used local Prescott AZ based company-https://classicgarageinc.com. Girst time the finish was peeling in areas nowhere near our kickstands and surface was slippery when wet. Apparently they had some bad product and worse worker. We had to empty out garage for a week BUT its was totally refinished bare and product re-applied and it is great now. Light color is better than neighbors dark finish

I have Swiss trax tiles in my garage. Looks awesome, but if you actually do any renting on your garage, do not buy them. They do not stand up to floor jacks, and if you have to use jackstands, you always have to put something underneath them.

These are older photos, but the basic premise is the same. I would much rather have plain concrete to work on. Or maybe just do this on half of it to park the Porsche and have the other have to work on the jeeps still.
