2009+ Steering Wheels for 2006/7/8?
Can a newer wheel be installed w/ an automatic Cayman? I like the newer ergonomics much better than the original. Thanks

Sure can, even the newest wheel like on the 718 and Macan can be installed. You will need an adapter available from gpsadapter.us for the newest wheel, maybe for the other but you might now. They will work. You will have to get a new airbag with either one though..

Yes, it will "fit", as in physically, and I think it will work with the systems in place on the 987 chassis. Send Li Paul an email and ask him, he is great about responding to such questions and will give you the definitive answer. He is the maker of the adapters and I used his work to install the GT Sport Design wheel (think Macan and late-GT4) on my 981 GTS. The multi-function buttons work great and he's just perfected the adapter that allows the sport mode switch on the wheel to work as well. liybalance@gmail.com is his addy.
