What I want -- now, what should I pay?
I'm looking for a Cayman. Several people have remarked on the value proposition of the Cayman over other models.
Things that are important to me:
1. Avoiding catastrophic failures!(i.e. IMSB meltdown).
2. Must be a bright color, no black, silver, gray
3. No turbos.
4. Manual trans, no paddle, auto-stick, etc.
5. Stiffer suspension, and/or lowered ride for cornering. In the 996 world it would be option M030.
My previous Porsches are; 914, 928(many), 996, 911(83), 944, and 968.
What model subgroup, and options, and how much will it cost me? Not interested in the ultra track deal like the 996 GT2, too pricey.

2012 Cayman R (Peridot, aqua blue, yellows out there). or 09-12 Cayman base or S (can retrofit the R suspension). 981 14-16 Cayman base, S, GTS, with X73 suspension. At the high end Cayman GT4 of course. Not up on current market but you can check KBB, Edmunds, the usual sites. Great cars, Best of luck
