Default PDK

Most likely an enzo.................but here goes. How difficult is it to mod a Cayman for PDK? Or is it much easier and smarter to just buy with PDK installed?

THANKS!

Why not just buy a PDK? 987.2s (09-12) are a little bit rare but I believe many were PDK. A 981 PDK should be fairly simple to find.

Don't even think of it! One fellow reversed from PDK to manual on a GT3 and spent more time and money than just buying a manual, which was not available for his given year.......

Some things are better left to the factory. Swapping a PDK system into a manual transmission car would "touch" just about every function in the drivetrain. The expense would be stunning, but I would think the most daunting task would be finding a shop/technician capable of doing the work in a manner that would result in the car being both reliable and legal to drive.

It's like trying to "un"bake a cake because you don't like one of the ingredients....

Was going to get an older Cayman and turn it into a track car with PDK.................may just need to open the wallet for a newer one
