TechArt Rear Spoiler II for 981S
I am considering adding the TechArt Rear Spoiler II to my 2014 Cayman S. Does anyone have experience with the installation of this rear wing?
I am particularly looking for the installation instructions to see if I want to do this on a DIY basis (after painting of course). Also I am curious about whether or not the weight of the wing has any effect on the operation of the rear lid.
Any help, guidance, or pictures of your installation would be appreciated.
Best Regards,
Fred

I did no go with the Techart II spoiler although I still like the design.
I ended up installing the Porsche OEM Spyder ducktail and electronically set it in the retracted position as I felt the spoiler angle was aggressive enough.
I really liked the end result for my purposes.

For what’s it worth, I installed a knock off one that took me a while to perfect via sanding, shaping and painting but turned out well.
the installation was pretty straight forward and you do have to drill through the lid for proper fitment. I used nutserts on the underside of the wing.
i was also able to pick up the very last New Old Stock carbon gurney flap for a 997 GT3 out of the Atlanta PDC and it now lives on a 981!
