Default Anyone know the history of this salvaged GT4

I see this car at auction and wonder if anyone knows the history of the wreck. Seems like it would be more than body damage to be salvaged.

The car is displaying brake fluid level issue.

Have not seen anything related to this car. The website says it is sold now, unless I am looking at it wrong. I agree it does not seem like enough damage to "total" the car. Looks like the only damage is on the passenger side. Would need a new front/rear bumper, front/rear quarter panel, probably rocker panel and door. Possibly a new hood. Maybe new wheels/rims and possibly some suspension parts if the wheels took a hit too. I would estimate that damage at about $30-40k to repair. When you look at the driver's side, it looks as if there could be some damage on that side as the door gap looks large. If there is also damage on the driver's side, that could take it into the realm of being totaled.

At least they threw in a GTS tail light when they doctored it up. Bonus!

Wow, that's quite deceiving on their part. Looks like an accident at the track. Didn't notice the GTS taillight at first, but the other taillight looks a bit strange too. Where did you find the original photos? Any info on where/how it happened?

Thanks. Did not know about that site. Looks like it sold for $34k. Unless there is a whole lot of damage you can't see and would not expect given the exterior damage, $80k+ of repair cost estimate seems high. But, buying for $34k and putting $40k - $50k of repairs into it (even if you can get by with that small of investment), leaves very little room to make any money from selling it.
