Anyone use Royal Purple 0W-40 in their Cayman? I don't see it on the recommended list of oils from Porsche, but I have used it in cars in the past and have had noticeable increases in mileage and just better sound of engine. Any opinions? Just got my 06' Cayman S last week and am changing all fluids this weekend. Looking for feedback.

Here is a link doing comparisons in the cold.
I was quite surprised by the results.
It's hard to beat Mobile 1. Even when I was involved with IndyCar we used it. Funny thing was we were sponsored by Havoline, so we put it in their containers as not to offend our sponsor.
For my performance vehicles it all I use. A few dollars difference, why take the risk!

Use a Porache A40 approved oil. There are over 150 to chose from.
If you are happy with Mobil, use the 0W40 for winter driving, and then the 5W50 for all the other months. If you are in a warm-weather state, just use the 5W50 all year.
