Default Keep accidentally hitting the paddle shifters on my 2011 Cayman. Options?

My clumsy hands hit the paddle shifters from time to time while turning, which is getting annoying.

Other than being more careful while turning, is there a way to turn-off the shifters until you want to use them?

Thanks.

Drive your car more. There is an "automaticity" that comes with seat time. Drive often enough and your hands, fingers and feet will eventually fall right where they are supposed to be.
