Cayman GTS on scary-tight road
This was shot on the Klausen Pass in Switzerland, and it looks pretty hairy... There's no mention of it on the HP, but I'd be a little skeptical to post a video like this online, as there are tons of stories about drivers getting popped for speeding via YouTube. What do you think? Is this rad or reckless?

Doesnt look too bad to me. If you watch, he really slows when he is coming up on blind turns and only really gets frisky when he can see a good distance ahead. He slows down around others and bikes, etc.
So to me it looks like a fun drive and he does it pretty darn responsibly as well.

I guess I was just thinking some of the authorities might have a little different idea of responsible, ha ha. But you're right in that it doesn't seem like he's doing anything that egregious.

Don’t see any tripple digits.
Often times roads like this are classed as 90km/h... which is plenty fast to have fun.
I rate his responsible behavior.
In my younger years I would have pushed harder and I’m glad it always ended well.

Totally responsible, in my opinion and surely the local authorities see plenty of hooligans out there. Switzerland is just breathtaking and that GTS sounds great!

I think the only crazy part of it is that the road was 2-way! But I'm familiar with European roads so it's not a surprise.

FWIW I know this person online fairly well. He has a nice youTube channel with lots of cool roads in Europe and Switzerland and his Cayman GTS. I've never seen anything where he drives crazy. In fact one of his videos explains how you have to be careful and watch speeds as cameras will get you and there will be police at the end of the road when done if you don't know it (especially at the start of the driving season there). He also has a bit of track experience as well. There's a difference between "spirited" driving and "reckless" driving. IMHO all of these videos are spirited, which is probably why we all bought these cars to begin with... And yes some of the roads are very narrow... we have some similar routes here in CA... just gotta be a bit more cautious.

Doesn't seem like he was going that fast and he did slow down on the blind turns. Most of them. I rate it OK, as long as he is already familiar with the road.
There is a portion of CO Highway 82 between Independence Pass and Aspen that's a lot like this. Because of the blasting required to create the road, it's only about 12 feet wide in a couple places that include blind curves. You have to be very careful; every time I drive it I hope there's not an insane moron coming the other way at 50 MPH.
Couple great shots of one of those blind curves:

Not fast, and not particularly narrow. I'd suggest it sounds quicker than it is due to the positioning of the microphone ...
