Question Am I Crazy? Trade my car collection for A GT4

Considering trading my modest car collection consisting of:

86 Buick Grand national: needs some work/paint but runs
98 WS6: Runs good, needs minor work/paint
06 Monte Carlo SS V-8: Beater but in decent shape
13 Fiat Abarth Cabrio: low miles a few mods that made a big difference
01 Mustang Gt Convertible: Clean car, a few bolt ons

If i got rid of all of them i could swing A GT4(lightly used) pretty easy,

I would of course keep my 06 H3 and use it a business/daily and of course my bikes are not going anywhere.

Is it worth trading all of these for a GT4? I watched the Chris Harris review and he seemed to go GAGA over this car......owners i would like your opinion on this.

Don't buy Porsches on a budget. Good luck in your process.

While i get with your saying. I think we all do everything within a budget. whether its the car, house or clothes we buy. For me the GT4 is a expensive but not unatainable car.........that said the GT4 would cost considerably more than my current modest budget collection, so i would not be keeping both......

We need basic transportation to get to work and run errands.

We need a place to live.

We need to wear clothes.

A Porsche is a toy. No one needs a Porsche.

Yes- do it! If you feel comfortable with the financial side of things.

You only love once and tomorrow is not a guarantee.

Personally I'd rather have a bunch of cheap, interesting cars than just a GT4, but that's me.

LOL, thanks, but I've already got my own small collection of quirky, cheap, and unreliable cars.

The Cayman S is by far the fastest and best handling car I own, but honestly the limits are so high and it's so competent that it's a tad boring for street driving. More fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow, you know. I'm quite fond of it but I think I'd get bored if it were my only car.

I disagree. You can only drive one at a time.

I'm in a similar situation. Contemplating if I should get rid of a couple of race cars and an SLK for ???

That is why you are supposed to take the Cayman to some HPDE's
