LOOKING FOR ADVICE ON 2007 CAYMAN PURCHASE
Looking at a 2007 Cayman with 59K miles. Listed for 20,900. Based on milage, is there anything I need to specifically concentrate on? I intend to have PPI done as well. Thank you in advance.

Assuming it has had all its scheduled maintenance, the one thing many people advocate is a water pump replacement around 40-50k. If it is on its original, you might want to budget for replacement and use it as leverage to get the price down.

For starters I'd do the following if not purchasing from a dealer
* Pull a carfax on it. See how many owners and check accident history
* Check the service history. If all regular maintenance at a dealer you're less likely to have issues I'd argue.
* Check for non Porsche upgrades (engine control unit mods, suspension changes, etc)
* I'd have someone check it carefully who really knows Porsche Caymans.
