Clutch Pedal Vibration W/ Engine RPM? - 981 Cayman
Hi,
I have a 2014 981 Base Cayman w/ 54,000 km (34,000 mi). My clutch pedal started a noticeable vibration / buzz that gets stronger as rpm rises. It starts to get very noticeable at 2,500 rpm and above. The same vibration happens whether in neutral or in gear. The vibration starts as soon as you step on the clutch pedal and happens both clutch in and out with consistent vibration strength.
I think the clutch pedal is transmitting engine vibrations. Perhaps some part along the linkage from clutch pedal to the clutch assembly is not dampening the vibration or causing the vibration.
So far there hasn't been any effects to the clutch or the car's performance.
Does anyone know what’s going on causing this issue?
Thanks in advance.
