What is happening to my Air Suspension?
Car: 2004 Cayenne Tubro
I'm aware of the many problems that plague the 955 when it comes to air suspension. But haven't heard of this happening yet:
I usually drive my car on normal suspension level - not high or low. Once after a drive, I noticed the front of my car suspension seems to be at its lowest point, while the rear is higher.
Car starts fine, does not give any error, and seems to think it is in 'standard' suspension level when it is clearly not.
If I lift the suspension lever, both rear and front suspension go up, but the front is still much lower than the rear. I can also re-lower it to the strangely low level again (which it thinks is standard).
If I try to lower the suspension level from standard, the front does not go down (since it is at its lowest anyway) and the car gives the air suspension error.
So basically, both front and rear suspension can go up and down (which makes me think they are working) - but the car seems to have the leveling wrong?
Anyone have this issue or know what the problem can be?
Thanks!

Do a search on "air suspension" and you'll find a lot of similar problems that members posted. My GTS exhibited the same symptoms and was solved by replacing the two rear pressure holding valves.

Bambar, your definition of standard seems a little off unless you have 23's on. What you seem to be describing is loading level, in which case a re calibration may be required
I you can check all the levels and take some pix to compare.
On an 04 I would suspect the struts unless you think they were changed before
