Default 2008 Cayenne V6 Transmission & differential fluids and filters

The Porsche Major service schedule doesn't call for the change of these fluids and the ATF filter until 144,000 miles. Is this really a good practice or should this work be done more often/ealier?

Change the fluids much sooner. It is very cheap insurance. I do these every 60k on my vehicles, but I like to maintain things better than most.

The diffs and transfer case could not be easier. You may need to chop part of an allen wrench off to be able clear for the front diff. The transmission is a little more involved, but it is well documented and anyone can do it if they follow directions.
