Default Anyone have personal experience with Bosch Icon 26OE in 2006 or "equivalent" Cayenne?

Need new wipers. Great prior experiences with Bosch Icon. Tried to get these for our 2006 CTS.

Bosch, Autozone, Advance Auto Parts and NAPA all list 26OE for '06 CTS, however, I cannot get them to fit properly.

Blade is the right size but none of the wiper arm adapters will fit correctly under the wiper arm cap/cover that snaps on over the wiper blade connector.

If I install the blade without any adapter, then the cap/cover fits - however, the blade slides about 1/4-1/2 inch either direction along the peg/pin and then on the peg/pin end side, only the cap/cover is there to hold it in place from sliding off the wiper arm. Seems like it shouldn't slide around and also like more than the cap/cover should be securing it from sliding off completely.

Anyone have any personal experience with this and would be willing to share, thanks to you in advance for your help...

I was in the same situation a few weeks ago. I ended up sliding the thin rubber piece out of the new wipers and installed into my existing blades. It took maybe 10 minutes to do both.

How to you pry open the end cap of the wiper blade? There are some notches but on which side?

Interesting. My 958 needs wipers. Wondering if I'll have the same problem.

Gotta go OEM for the wipers on the 955. I had the same experience with the Bosch OE, they didn't fit.

Think I bought my OEM wipers from ECS Tuning...

Buy the OE ones on Amazon. Cheaper than the local store - and 2 day delivery with Prime.

26OE is the wiper for the 958 series. Different mount entirely from the 955/957.

26OE didn't fit under my caps. Returned to Amazon and got the Bosch Aerotwin from ECS which are EXACTLY the same as OEM Porsche but WAY less (likely what Porsche rebrands as their own) These are priced per pair, add a 'filler' like an oil filter to get above $49 for free shipping:

Do you know the two different sizes for the wipers? It looks like it is shorter on the driver side and longer for passenger side. 26" and 22"?

Both are 26". And see the note above - 26OE is likely not the correct part.

Can confirm the 26OE fits the 958 perfectly. Looks like the 955/957 is very different.

NO it isn't. BOTH are 26".. if one of yours is shorter it's the wrong wiper.
