thinking about a trailer hitch
accidentally saw a Curt hitch install video, now i am thinking about it. The cost is 134 (CURT 13116 Class 3 Receiver Hitch), installation seems straight forward, do you guys think it would increase the vehicle resale value? I don't foresee myself using that hitch though...although it may sorta reinforce the rear bumper and give a look of muscle with that hitch and hitch cap

I don't think it will raise the resale $1. There are many who prefer a vehicle without a hitch, because they can be sure it never towed anything and avoided a certain type of hard use.

If its not OEM just the opposite IMO. The Porsche setup is more than just the hitch.

This includes control unit, wiring harness, foam baffles, and ball hitch

Definitely my preference, even though I could get away with the lighter hitch for my needs. Mine was added later but is the factory hitch with the control module installed. The lighting plug adapter was never installed so I was pretty sure it was used as a very expensive bicycle holder.

Mine didn't have the wiring plug either, so I doubt it was ever used.
I guess my truck is now undesirable since I added the wiring plug and a trailer brake controller

For the trailer brake controller? No, Porsche already has the wiring you need underneath the drivers side knee panel. You need a relay and some wiring connects that are $40ish
