Default Any fix for the digital display?

You can see it fading at the top and bottom left. Is this something I can replace?

Wish this was available for my former 04S. During the summer that display would fade...it was hardly readable.

No problem during the winter.

Try these guys, I had great luck with the instrument cluster in my Audi tt and they have a lot of positive feedback if you Google them. If you are actually in Boise then they are close too, just up the road in Moscow, ID.

I'm getting ready to tackle this on my '06 S. Looks like the parts are about $100 and a fairly easy DIY:

Just finished this replacement yesterday in my '05, and wanted to thank this forum for the guidance in tackling this job.
As I'm in Canada and it's originally a US vehicle, having this display work properly as a speedo is fairly critical. Really pleased with the outcome!

I just got mine done for only $215.00. Ramsey at ATX Instrument Cluster (www.atxinstrumentcluster.com) came to my car and did it in 30 minutes. I gave him the following information that I had found and he took care of the rest.
