Default Real Quick: Can I use Mercedes Benz antifreeze in my 08 GTS?

Just checking my fluid levels. Also, can I use Mercedes Benz anti-freeze to top off my coolant level?

Use distilled water. You can buy them at a drugstore. No reason for any antifreeze on a top off.

Distilled water? Wow. Ok. When I checked my coolant level the coolant was a little bit higher than MIN according to the gauge when took the cap off and looked at it. Distilled water....... Thank you.

One note: The engine should be stone cold and parked on a level surface when checking your coolant level. If the level is within the MIN & MAX markings on the expansion tank, just leave it be.

Ok. It is between the MIN and MAX markings...just closer to the MIN. So, I will leave it be. I am leaving on a trip this evening for a death in the family and was just checking my fluid levels prior to getting on the road. I learned something new today and will leave it be. Thank you.

Fill distilled water to the middle of min and max when the engine is cold and you will be ready to go. Completely optional as you sound like a person with OCD or just "cares a lot."

And when checking other fluids...my driveway is a 20 degree angle and it makes a big difference.
