Default 957 aftermarket reverse camera help

Installed a "monitor image reverse camera" that mounts onto the license plate light.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Install went fine but I do not see my bumper which beats the purpose of a reverse camera.

Faulty camera or did I buy the wrong one? Anyone else have this issue?

You can try adjusting the tightness of the camera screws to adjust the angle. I have the same camera and I just put some type of "homemade washers" to adjust the angle of the camera while still keeping the screws tight.

I think what Kino said is your best bet. They are just cheap Chinese setups and not that specifically made. Camera looks like it is working fine, just the angle is off by a few degrees. On the other hand, you could have someone watch the camera while you move your hand out from the bumper and see how far out you have to move your hand before the camera sees it?

I just used some old rubber that I tore off from something else and screwed the screws through the rubber into the license plate screw holes. Then, I adjusted the tightness for the right angle. Nothing fancy. No one can see it.

In reading the blurb on the Amazon ad, it's stated to have a 2,170 degree viewing angle. Hard to believe it could miss recording just about anything.
