Considering a 2006 Cayenne Turbo S
I am considering a 2006 Cayenne Turbo S. What are the things that need to be addressed on these and what do I look for?
Mileage will be in the 50 to 100k. Any thoughts?

That said, from my limited knowledge...
- coolant pipes changed to aluminum early on (preventative is best, not reactive)
- cardan shaft replaced recently (not a make/break, will just cost you money)
- air suspension issues with Turbos, so I've read
- by those miles I'd also look for drivebelt/waterpump/pulleys to have been replaced
- coils, plugs, and valve seal
Hope that helps.

Just make sure you get a pre-purchase inspection.
That's right around the time the rotors and pads need to be changed and that will be a couple thousand dollar event. The headlights tend to have a lot of issues, the back of the seats tend to fall off at that age.
At 100k miles all the fluids have to be changed which is the differential, transmission fluid , transfer case and pretty much everything under the vehicle that has oil in it. That is a fifteen-hundred-dollar event.
The AC flaps or servos will start to go bad around a hundred thousand miles. Mine are doing that right now
On the plus side of things it's a pretty easy to work on.

Three Wheelin'
Don't forget front suspension control arms - that's about 2500. Cardan shaft is either 1K or 500 if you DIY.
Depending on how well maintained, or not maintained it is, I would budget for 1/3 the cost of the car in repairs within the first year or two.
