Default Cayenne S, 2011, Tires 265/50-19

Looks like I will get about 35,000 miles out of the Goodyear Eagle LS-2. Probably not too bad for such a heavy vehicle. Ride has not been bad, no excessive noise.

I am leaning towards Michelin Latitude Tour HP unless I decide to build up a winter set of wheels and tires. If I do, I am looking at the Michelin Latitude Sport 3.

What tires are you all enjoying in the All-Season 265/50 19 size?

I went with the newest Pirelli Scorpian Verde Plus. About 15k miles and they still look new!

RG,

Thanks.

What tires did you have before the Pirelli's and could you compare and contrast between the two?

My car came with Michelin Latitude Tour HP 19s. So far so good at 17000 miles.

I also had the Goodyear LS-2. Just replaced them at 23,000 bc the front outer edges were showing signs of "chunking" (chunks of rubber were coming off). Dealership said it was normal and that the PIG wears the front ones very fast.

Decided not to risk it and went also with the Pirelli Scorpion Verde with the NO designation. Somehow, my independent tire dealer had these priced much cheaper than tire rack. So, far so good. Gas mileage seem to have improved some.

Changing out the Michelin latitudes on my 2014 diesel with 50,000 miles on it and I tow with the cayenne. Tires have 4/32 left on them

Needless to say michelins are going back on

Thanks for the comments all. Choosing tires for a Cayenne is not near as fun as it is for the 911 with all of its choices. I took a few notes of what I see out there and thought I would share what I have so far. Suggestions and corrections are welcome.

I am narrowing my search down to the Latitude Tour and the Scorpions.

Default Pirellis

I got about 45K out of the Michelin Latitude Tour HPs, but recently switched to the Pirelli Scorpion Verde Plus. I'm a Michelin fan but the Pirellis were so much less expensive. So far I'm very happy with them and the $300 I saved.
