Help with Towing CEL and P!g Light
I've read the threads and remember Larry's posts from 10 yrs ago
But I'm still not sure of the fix. I have an '06 CS with factory tow package and started towing a U-haul trailer last week. Reason is we are moving and everything is going into storage. Later this summer, I will buy an Airstream and tow it all over the US and Canada as this is a bucket list item for me and I've just retired.
When I hooked up the U-haul trailer, all brake lights and signals worked fine but I got the 'Check Trailer Lights' message and the '!' light. But I forgot to check the headlights and won't rent the trailer again until next week.
So what should I expect and how do I fix this situation? TIA, Dave

If it has LED lights (I think it does), you need an LED trailer light adapter to eliminate the warning. https://rennlist.com/forums/porsche-...ght-issue.html

I have an unused LED light adapter I'll sell to you if you want it. I bought it when I had a 957 Cayenne... don't need it with a 958. It's part 20142 from eTrailer: "Trailer Connector Adapter w/ Lamp-Out Sensor Bypass - 7-Way RV to 7-Way RV - Vehicle End".
PM me if interested - $15 shipped... that's half price.
