Default Entry & Drive (Keyless?)

Hi,

I have a 04 with the Entry and Drive option. Is there any way I can go the keyless route?

I'm under the assumption that the newer generation Cayennes have this small black key that stays in the ignition. Not sure if this was for the older generation.

Is there any way to go keyless for 2004 Cayenne?

Cheers!

I'm seeing this plastic key as an option for 2003-2010: http://www.5150motorsport.com/cayenn...tic-dummy-key/

Could it be the previous owner never gave me the plastic key?

How do you start your car - do you have to use a key? With PED there is a key plug or "dummy" plug as shown in your link.

Yes, I've been plugging in my key.

It looks like I can buy this dummy key and use that and not take my huge keyfob out of my pocket anymore.

Chime in if I'm wrong. Buying the dummy key now.

Cheers!

Dummy key is all you need providing you do have the Entry and drive option.

One sure way to tell is if you have small rubber buttons on your exterior door pulls. (And pray they still work).
