Default Serpentine Belt Service. Does anything else need to be changed?

I have a 08 CTT and getting ready to change the belt. Does anything else need to be changed while I'm doing this job? The car has 88k miles.

Nope. If your rollers and tensioner are good - just change the belt. 80K service includes the cabin filter and air filters, FYI.

What wrinkledpants said... I've spoke to mechanics at the dealership and they've never seen a tensioner/roller fail. Overkill to replace. Maybe at changeout #2.

By roller do you mean the idle pulley? Mine self destructed in June while I was cruising on a city street at 30 mph. The belt took out a few other items including the power steering pump and instrument cluster (wtf?). 49,000 on the clock for an 06 CS. Got it back three weeks later and a $2,800 bill

Anything is possible, just stating what I was told at the dealer. I have 67k on my CTTS and will only change belt unless the rollers or idle pulley is feeling rough on spin.

I would change out the rollers as preventive but that's just me.
