Exclamation Best place to buy maintenance parts and which brand

I'm looking to perform the following services on my 08 CS with a friend:

Serp Belt
Coolant flush
brake fluid flush
spark plugs
engine air filters

I'm seeing way too many brand options for these items! What are the brands to buy that will provide the best bang for the buck. I'm doing these services myself hence I'm trying to keep costs manageable. If you can provide a recommendation to a retail/ecomm site I should purchase them from, that would be great appreciated as well!

Sonnen Porsche is on that list. Greg & Neil are great to deal with!

Also, without knowing your mileage, consider changing the idler pulleys. Should be less than 150$ and considering what a pain it is to do the belt, it is good insurance you won't need to go in halfway through the life of the new belt. If your mileage is below 100k I probably wouldn't bother unless they don't spin perfectly smoothly by hand.

I have nearly a 100% disappointment rate with aftermarket parts. I won't list all of let downs I've had. Even OEM stuff has let me down, most recently a water pump that only lasted 10K miles. It was made in Germany, by Lasko maybe? Anyway, from my perspective, the reason to buy aftermarket is for cost savings. And, when compared to dealer prices it MIGHT be worth the risk. BUT, some of the Porsche dealers we can buy from have great prices that are only a little more expensive than aftermarket. Sonnen, Suncoast, Sunset Porsche all come to mind. Their prices make aftermarket not worth the risk for me.

You might be able to find VW Touareg parts that will work in the Cayenne, since they share a lot of parts. VW parts are a lot less expensive.

Yes. Sorry, I was speaking in general, not specifically related to your current project.
