I installed the Power Stop Z23 setup http://www.autoanything.com/brakes/61A5870A0A0.aspx on the front of my GTS. I like the look of the drilled and slotted rotors, and braking is superb. From 60, I can easily lock them up (activating ABS) on a dry road. Dust is about average. I have had them on about 8 months, and have had zero concerns.

The only thing to take note of, and this applies to softer pads like the Ferrodo as well, is that when cold, they don't work as well. Once driven a bit, they reach temp and all is good.

I had no issue fitting the sensors in the front before, not sure what is going on with the rear set. I will post an update when I hear from Matt. The size of the rear pads is correct, identical to the previous set, no issue there,
UPDATE: I was told that since the rear pad shapes are much more common for the 911s that the wear sensor slot was made for those sensors.

Matt will the 2500 fit the stock cayenne GTS rotors? I think my textars are in decent condition just need some pads

Anybody else ds2500 pads squeal like crazy at low speeds? It started doing this after only 2k miles in but it’s pretty bad now, this only happens at slow speeds <20 mph (regardless if cold or warmed up), but it’s damn annoying in stop and go traffic? Probably about 4-5k miles on them now any tips or tricks? I’ve tried rebedding them but that does nothing.

as far as I can tell there is plenty of pad life left, so would hate to throw these away and put on new pads and rotors again.

interesting data point. I am using the stock size Stoptech-black hat vented and slotted rotors front and rear and ds2500 all around. only the fronts are squeaking. Maybe something is catching on the rotor?

Try bedding them again - sometimes a second round clears them up. Make sure you let it cool overnight after bedding them.

Rossi, where did you source your DS2500?

I had a set all round and have RB 2pc rotors in the front and the front pads didn’t fit...they were basically “always braking” if that makes sense. I went back to Giro disc S/S pads for the front (still DS2500 for the rear) and they fit perfect with the same performance (love Ferodo with my other cars as a street pad).

I have 20% left on my pads my mechanic stated. Isn't there a sensor for pad wear?

How did you end up liking your REdStuff pads? how was the grip in cold weather? Dust? Ever tried or thought about the Yellows?

Please see post #17, I would NOT recommend those.
I have switched to Ferodo DS2500, fantastic stopping power.

Rossi, how/where did you get those DS2500 pads? When I go to the speedfreaksusa, I do not have an option for the Cayenne.

Here are the parts numbers for you, you might find them online in few places including speedreaksusa.
Awesome deal: https://www.ebay.com/itm/FCP1625H-Fe...o/142616621853

Part# FCP1626H (front)

Part# FCP1308H (rear)
- the rear pads don’t fit the 957 brake wear sensors, I think these pads fit 911 ones. I just modified my sensors and called it a day, as mentioned in posts above.
