Looking to buy a 13-14 GTS
I'm in the early stages of looking at buying a GTS. Is there any must have options? I know I would like to find one with 21 inch wheels, the big roof, GTS interior( like the stitching and leather). Anything else I should look at for options? What problems do these common have? Should I look at only certified ones? Trying to get one with 30k or less but would consider a mid 30k if it had a certified warranty. Thanks

Good luck finding one with PDCC. I am looking to move to a GTS
but I am finding more turbos than GTSs with PDCC installed which seems odd for the model that is supoosed to be handling-focused.

Contact Daniel Eastman (yes 918 Daniel Eastman) at Garff Porsche deastman@kengarff.com-has a 2013 GTS with low miles. Auburn over Luxor. I have no affiliation with the dealer but do know Daniel.

I am also surprised about most GTSs not having the PDCC. I've spent months looking for a GTS with Sport package, Premium Plus package and full leather (w/o alcantara) and very few of those are ever offered on the market. There's a litany of CTTs though.

GTS standard features are solid. I prefer leather over Alcantara for ease of cleaning with kids and the full leather interior option is awesome. Everyone who sits in my CS for the first time comments on the leather dash & doors and you get less dash reflection into the windshield. Not a fan of the Pano roof myself - looks great but does have more leaks & creaks than the small sunroof. Really can't go wrong with any GTS. If I get another Cayenne instead of a 911, PDCC & PTV will be required.

The principle of archaism applies here just like it does with all fine things in life. Leather binds form with function, synthetics have neither.

Good thread, I am also looking. Here is my list of wants and avoids, obviously all very subjective and there are no rights/wrongs, just sharing.
For me more electronic nannies for handling (PTV+) are off my list. I like the panoramic roof option, would like to see an upgraded stereo (likely Bose, I have never seen the Burrmeister (sp?)) and for me I want PCCB- have them on my GT3 and want to lose as much weight from the pig as possible, especially unsprung weight. I like Alcantara, have that in the GT3 and prefer it to chemically dyed dead animal carcass, though I understand some people like that sort of thing. I have the leather dash in my X5 and it's pretty, but that doesn't fit into my idea of a sports oriented cayenne. I also like the open look of the turbo wheels, and prefer the car in white, red, or blue. I guess I'm a patriot.

You can look a long time for a set of PCCB's on a Cayenne. I have seen a PCCB Cayenne S on the road in Dallas and I want one myself, but they are scarce as hen's teeth second hand. Good luck.

Above is all I can agree on with your statement. Though I loved your description of leather Dead animal carcasses are awesome IMO, especially if only chemically dyed and not surface treated with vinyl.
