I believe I'll not get exact the same diameter as yours, coz I'll have to buy in metric dimension, so option will be a little bit bigger or a little bi smaller, and I would like to know what would be better.
i tried 2" and it fit through the insert, but i couldn't get it over to the perforated tube, so i tried 1 7/8" and that went well, it fit right in, without rattling or moving.

and no, its just zinc plated steel. was too impatient for stainless to try it out. will probably order SS in the long run.

i just found this over in germany: might be the right one for you

Well, I did the same today. I didn't use flex pipe but classic stainless pipe with outside diameter 54mm, and 400mm long on each side.

I didn't have time to test it yet, but it sounds promising. I go to the skiing this weekend, and I'll let you know how it goes.

congrats!

well, just hop in the pepper , turn the key and hit the gas!

word of advice: you will need more fuel and your family will be cold, as you will be hitting the gas more often with the rear windows down. it's just too nice!

I have done few miles, and I have to say that I'm impressed. It's nice quiet when you cruising, and become nice loud when you press the pedal.
Exactly what I want.

Phl, thank you for that!

Anyone tried this on a 957? On my GTS it has 4 outlets from the muffler, not two. One is for the sport exhaust. The other?

Default Exhaust Modification

Thank you, phL for this tip. I am planning on doing it, however, I have a question for those that are more mechanically inclined than me. If the performance exhaust systems are supposed to have less restrictions resulting in a freer flowing exhaust to increase power, wouldn't these inserted flex-pipes cause more restriction than the OEM exhaust? I definitely want a better sounding exhaust but not at the expense of performance. I will appreciate any feedback on this. Thanks.
