Default Transmission problems

Hi all, I've owned a 2006 Cayenne S with 145000KMS now for about 6 months. I've had endless dramas with the car from day one. So far I've had the air suspension compressor fail, cardan shaft, transfer case, alternater and coolant expansion tank all been replaced. I've had a very jerky transmission and it also clunks when shifting down without acceleration which I have taken to the dealership 3 times now and they still can't find the problem. It occasionally gets stuck in gear for a few seconds and then will clunk into gear. Usually it's worse when I'm in heavy traffic around 30-40kms per hour. It feels like the whole transmission is loose or something. Any ideas what this could be? Thanks

Transmission valve body? Will be the big result in a search for those symptoms.

^This. Expect at least $2,500 from the dealer.

Oh, and I'd demand credit for any previous charges they did for a 'fix'.

Sounds like my problem as well: https://rennlist.com/forums/porsche-...vibration.html

This thread says $1,200 using a rebuilt valve body, I can live with that: https://rennlist.com/forums/porsche-...dy-review.html

All the previous work has been covered under Porsche dealership warranty and I still have 5 months remaining on the warranty so luckily I haven't spent a $. I'm worried they are just patching it up until it goes past warranty. I just want it fixed properly !!! I'm going to recommend they check the valve body.. Thanks for the help

I've had rough transmission shifts from local speeds driving around town.
No pattern, other than low speeds (<40mph). Sometimes coming into a turn, braking and then accelerating suddenly, or just accelerating straight moderately.
Went to the dealer and they told me it's due to my worn tires. Apparently I don't have enough traction in a 2010 4WD V6 Cayenne on dry asphalt at relatively low speeds (<40mph). I don't know if they assume all Porsche owners are this stupid...
