Default Should I vinyl wrap my window pillars?

Been wondering lately if my pepper would look better with gloss black window pillars and window trim. Do you think it would look better wrapped, and if so, what color? Or should I leave it as is? Open to comments and suggestions!

You could also plasti-dip them - it's a quick and easy change if you don't like them and cheap as well..

I actually like the silver trim, but not on silver cars. In your case, yes, the contrasting black would look better.

I actually had to look at mine to see what I had. Mine are black from the factory. A GTS thing? I recommend black

Here's the before and after on my pillars. I wrapped the pillars and plasti-dipped the trim. I also did the door handles and trim piece at the bottom of the door, but they got messed up, so I took that part off.

Looks great! I ordered gloss black vinyl with the intention of wrapping the pillars and window trim. Did you attempt to wrap the trim at all?

Also, is there a noticeable difference in person between the matte black plasti-dip and the gloss black vinyl?

I didn't even attempt to wrap the trim. I was reading this thread about plasti-dipping everything, and they said that the pillars were getting rubbed off when they closed the door, so they wrapped them instead.

https://rennlist.com/forums/porsche-...-to-black.html

I didn't put enough layers of plasti-dip on though. When I buffed the car, I tapped the trim off, so the buffer wouldn't grab the plasti-dip. The tape ended up sticking to the plasti-dip and it came off when I removed the tape.

The difference in the matte black and gloss vinyl isn't bad. I like that they are different from each other.

I had door handles and door trim painted body colour.

The window trim was wrapped matte black. If I had to do it again. I would have used the gloss. I think it matches the overall appearance better, and doesnt look like it was an add on.

My vote is gloss black vinyl!

Default UPDATE

Just finished up wrapping the pillars and window trim in gloss black vinyl from VViViD Vinyl.

Turned out great, very easy to do if you're willing to take the time to do it right. I think the results speak for themselves!

I actually like the middle "work in process" pic the best with the black pillars and silver door and window trim.

That's what it looks like now. I taped the plasti-dip off so my buffer wouldn't grab it, then when I peeled the tape off, the plasti-dip came off anyway.

How do the pillars come off? Pretty simple to do?

I would rather wrap them than plastidip
