I am curious if anyone goes to the Manheim auctions and if so what the 2004-2006 CS are going for there?

you need a login nowadays. sometimes pcars are such a pain to source from there unless they are high mileage do to popularity and its an easy discount.

I had a buddy with a wholesale license/dealer licenses, he tried to get one for about a year and settled for the V8 treg with skimpy arms...........

Really never see Cayenne CS's but 2006 S's bring $24900 avg with 58K miles. 2004 S's bring $16000 avg with 88k miles. Hope that helps.

What about an '04/'05 Cayenne S with 60k to 70k? I'm guessing $18k-$19k?

If you are talking retail at $18k-$19K then yes. $18 is low but $19 is very doable. <---- if that is a real word. LOL

It is amazing to see how high these cars go for at auctions. For those buying to resale for profit there seems to be very little profit in these cars.

You are right not much profit UNLESS the miles are good and the options are there. Then a dealer can hold out for all the money. The last three codes stand for 8G 8 cylinder A automatic.

I have seem auction prices for Mercedes and over the years more and more people have been able to get licensed to go which has drove up prices. At one time this was a lucrative business but with so many people bidding on cars that have no clue what they are doing prices have gone way up. Have heard of lots of people getting burned. Given some of these can be very good cars coming off leases and such lots of dogs that may need to tons of work.

Many the dealers I see searching on cars. com or autotrader literally take these straight from the auctions to their sales site and do nothing to them. When you ask about service history you get a response that it has been well maintained but no records.

I made a decision I will only buy from a current owner. Also many flippers say they are the owner of the car and after owning for a month something just came up which is why they are going to sell and when you google the phone number or email address you get like 5 different links to other cars they are selling.

Too many scamers out there.
