The problem is we dont have the options values for coding this module, the touareg codes are listed below, we need something similar for the cayenne. From what I see in the durametric help hints, it is wrong. Try adding the numbers of similar options you have from the numbers below and see if it is close to your coding of 212021, I bet you have heated seats and your rear fog light is off with your air suspension or something. If you want to just take a chance, you could add 16 to your number, so it would be 212021+16 = 212077:

These look like all the modules for 2005 to the mythical 2007 model. I am guessing there were some changes for the 2003-04 models.

This is a great thread. Where did you find all of the different coding adaption additions & subtractions? Are they in the shop manual?

Unfortunately trial and error. The only one I have been able to figure out is the seatbelt/door/key chimes.

Without anyone submitting their car options and coding numbers, it is much harder to figure things out and a greater risk of messing something up.

Hi Touareg,
I too went from a v8 Touareg to a v8 Cayenne... I just got my durametric today.. looking to clear the seatbelt warning, nav warning and key in ignition warning. I called a tech guy from Durametric.. he stated the enthusiatst kit can do anything to the Cayenne because the bus was too complex for them to spend time on restricting the code. He said all channels and values will work from Toaureg 2003-2012 on our 2003-2012 Cayennes. I havent tried any of your codes yet, but am looking forward to it...

I have to go back and look, but you should be able to probe your car for all modules and get a log with the coding.

If you could then post your model and year and any special options you have that would be great!

Yeah when I first asked support about differences they said they were thinking about restricting it with the new software, I then asked what was the point of me spending 300 bux for a oil light reset and code scanner . This was right when the software was coming out.

Glad to see they are not going to ask for another 500 or whatever it costs for the pro.

6.3.1.7 is now out.

Wish there was a way to reduce the sensitivity/raise the intermittency (doubt that's a word) of the intermittent wiper function. Even with the position selector on the stalk set to the least frequency (sensitivity) it's far too sensitive.

Also, just to be clear, in the first post when he says "Then by hand went back to change my units from C to F and UK Gal to US Gal, already had my clock on 24 hours, and tire was BAR, didn't care as I do not have TPMS. " it means to change the values using the stalk/menu system on the steering column, not using the durametric application.

OK, after my change from US to UK via the 15xxx setting with the Durametric I get a "Check Headlamp Aiming" warning msg. when I turn on the lights and the driver's (left) side is higher than what it was before. I suspect the P!g now thinks it's in GB and we're driving on the wrong side of the road. Also, the changes did get rid of the annoying door ajar & key in ignition chimes it did not get rid of the seatbelt warning chime.

** Duh! I think I may have figured out what I did wrong on the seatbelt chime **

Any suggestions?

You wrote down your original code correct? I would try coding it back. I also think the headlight aiming is a coincidence. If you were in the car for a bit without it running you can drain the battery down. I Believe it is generally recommended to run the car or have a battery charger on it. Remember to leave the garage door open!

My coding may be different than yours(it is important to make the below changes on your coding, not just set it to mine!!!), but I have a us spec car with xenon.

Based on that, taking my original code (which I may have quoted wrong originally, I have to check the car):

-02000 the chart below shows that I need to remove 02 from the 10000, and 1000, position, since it is enabled.
