Default Installed a Thule Roof Rack

We have two dogs (Greater Swiss Mountain Dog and Chocolate Lab) that come most places we go. Given their size (and smallish cargo area of the Cayenne), we don't have a lot of room left over for our stuff.

As a result, we decided to get a Thule Roof Rail system and cargo box. The roof rack showed up a short while ago and my wife installed it (yup, that's right).

We're waiting on the cargo box, but it should be along shortly. I posted a pic of the roof rack system below and here's a write up about installing the roof rack on the pig including a few pics, my wife's thoughts on wind noise, etc.

Even with the box, you'll still need to smash the dogs down quite a bit to ghet them in there. I have one and it is like 9-10 inches high at the most.

Glad to see your putting the dogs in the back and not up in the rack like us.

Seriously, what are you using to get the hair out? I think out Swissy sheds more than your two Berners combined.

WTF would it matter if the car is taken care of and detailed properly before sale?

Or price adjusted for a few scratched trim pieces.

i bought a roll of that "static cling clear plastic film" from the dealer (not sure what it is called) and covered the whole back, replaced it every month or so. hair can't stick to it and mud wipes right off. after 18k of haulin dogs etc, car was mint when i traded it back to the dealer.

When you say the whole back, do you mean the sides and the headliner too? I'm going to do a google search now to see if I can find some. If you figure out what it was called, let me know.
