That is the correct part. there are actually 2 Ts. I used a dremel to cut the bands and replaced the plastic with metal.

Thanks man! That other T you used it 3/4 with 2x 1" right?

One was 3/4" with 2x1" . The other all 3/4".

After spending the last 2hrs trying to see if i had the aluminium pipes on my 04 turbo with a mirror, light, and then a phone camera with no look at all, i crawled under the left hand side wheel arch with a small light and eventually there they were, could just see a small part of a flange and tab with small star like markings on it, i matched what i saw with a picture of the aluminum pipes, good news! i have them, this was on a right hand drive car.
