My question is which way am i suppost to put the filter in ?? Lighter side facing you or darker side facing you ??

If you'll see photo #6 in post 5 you'll see there (should be) a tab on the filter, it will only go in one way with that tab.

For when you can't find your 5.5mm socket, a 3/8 worked.
I'm fairly sure it was 3/8 as my 50 year old eyes were having 'issues'!

For those with the newer 958s. Its still 1 torx screw, but even easier. There wasnt any other screws at all. Just unclip the lower panel. Unclip the air vent/tube that goes directly over the panel. Then unclip the filter opening (the filter is in vertically). pull out the old one and place the new one. When pulling out the filter, observe the "air flow" direct arrow and place the new filter the exact same way. still a 10 minute job but only 1 tool needed.
