2009 GTS Engine Bog
OK so its my turn with a Cayenne issue...2009 GTS manual transmission.
A few months ago while accelerating up a curved on ramp (who else does that) the engine rpms seemed to increase without additional pedal.
Forgot about this episode until a few days ago, while entering a highway with a straight on ramp.
Paying closer attention (during a few spirited acceleration trials) with the pedal to the floor initially there is a subtle rpm drop and then it pulls hard like trying to catch up.
Only happened in 6th gear.
Scanned with Durametric but no codes. Aside from this the engine idles and performs 100%.
What say you forum experts?

I suspect you might have fuel delivery problem, perhaps the primary fuel pump in the tank or fuel regulator. I would continue driving it hard and try to replicate the conditions when that happens, the car will throw a cell or at least have one pending, which will help you to navigate toward the issue you might have.

Thanks guys.
Originally I thought it could be the clutch slipping but after repeated hard pulls up a steep incline in 4th 5th and 6th gear I could not reproduce the bog in rpm.
In fact today on a straight section of highway I tried several acceleration runs in 6th gear without a glitch.
Its intermittent for sure so I may just monitor this until it flags a code which provides a clue.
